Birchwood is a modern 15-bed, purpose-designed bungalow-style care home for disabled people in a semi-rural location in Chesham, Bucks.

Our clients made decisions about who they wished to live alongside in their new home and the standard, style and colour themes of all fixtures and fittings throughout the service in individual discussions with professional designers.

Clients participate in the running of the service through our new resident consultation forum, which is attended by all clients and chaired though an independent volunteer. There is no central food budget - clients work in "family" groups to plan meals and shopping needs and have an allocated budget which they manage.
