Chester Skills Development Centre
Chester Skills Development Centre encourages disabled people to develop independent skills in all forms of community life. The centre provides a day service for adult disabled people, including those with physical impairments, learning difficulties and behavioural needs.
Anyone attending the service has an individual care plan that takes account of their needs, expectations and rights.
We support the development of people's skills including preparation for work, employment, education and life skills.
Link Up Club: leisure and social activities
Disabled people at the centre have set up and manage the Link Up Club, which organises leisure and social activities and its campaigns group.
The group regularly organises trips to concerts, sporting and art events, and also holidays in this country and abroad.
