Scope offers a range of services in Devon and Plymouth to disabled children, young people and adults and families, including:
We provide holiday play and leisure activities within the London Borough of Enfield for disabled children and young people. We also provide Out of School Clubs in the Borough.
All our clubs are based within the Borough of Enfield and are available to disabled children and young people aged 8 to 17 years.
We have staff vacancies for Support Workers.
We have two excellent services for disabled children and adults in Chester.
We support disabled children, young people and adults to do something they enjoy or try something new, like:
- going swimming, bowling or horse riding
- going to the cinema or theatre
- meeting your friends
- going to school or work
- shopping or pampering
We also offer personal care so that you can bathe, dress, eat and use the toilet.
Who can use our service?
We work with disabled children over the age of five, young people and adults from all over the city of Chester and Ellesmere Port.
Day opportunities and support
We offer groups of disabled children and adults the opportunity to learn new skills and to meet new people in the community. Individuals can enjoy a full range of indoor and outdoor leisure and social activities, such as:
- computer and iPad workshops
- travel training
We also offer one to one support in the community for shopping, attending clubs and local groups, social events, travelling to and from school or college.
Support for disabled adults at home or in the local community
Our friendly team supports disabled adults to develop their independence, confidence, maintain skills and gain new ones. Whether it's for a few hours during the day or week, we support disabled people with:
The Old Orchard is a residential home that supports five disabled people, including people who have particularly high support needs with complex physical impairments and learning difficulties. We provide a holistic service based on the needs and preferences of individuals.
We seek to empower and enable people to live a lifestyle of their choice, develop self-esteem and confidence, enhance communication and social skills, and gain as high a level of independence as possible.

Belvoir Lodge is a five-bedded residential bungalow for disabled people. There is a tracking hoist throughout the bungalow. All the bedrooms are spacious and adapted to meet the individual needs of residents. There is a profile bed in all five bedrooms and rooms are decorated to the personal taste of each resident.
