Milton Keynes Resource Centre: Art Studio
The popular art studio provides two Friday sessions, morning and afternoon, and also the Saturday Fletchers Project whose members constitute the Art Group. This is a happy and hard-working group who produce individual work of a consistently high standard. There are varying styles according to personality and interests. Each painting is entirely their own work.
There are a whole range of materials and advice available to enable each member to find their own means of expression; members enjoy working in company and sharing ideas. New members are always welcome. Why not visit the art studio, work is always on display?
Outside the Milton Keynes Resource Centre the Group is known as the Perspectives Art Group. They have a strong reputation in Milton Keynes, having mounted two exhibitions. These experiences and the feedback received are a huge boost to the members’ self-confidence.
Financial support has been received from Milton Keynes Community Foundation and concessions from companies, organisations and individuals to present the exhibitions professionally.
Cards of the exhibited work have been sold and members have had their own work printed for friends.
