Interactive Disability Equality Training (iDET)

The Scope iDET Toolkit is a comprehensive, self-contained and interactive training pack for Disability Equality Training.

It's designed to enable organisations of any size to deliver effective DET to groups of staff and management in short, clearly structured and participative sessions. Delivered separately or as part of other training and development activities, the iDET Toolkit ensures effective understanding of all key aspects of disability equality in just two to three hours.

For both public and private sector organisations it is increasingly vital that all management and staff are disability aware. The expanding requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1995 and the Disability Equality Duty (DED) make this critical for organisational efficiency, business advantage and risk avoidance.

The iDET Toolkit comprises three key modules:

• The Disability Discrimination Act

• Disabled People: The Myths and Realities

• The iDET Guide to Customer Service

Each iDET Toolkit contains:

• A 25-minute DVD

• CD-ROM of PowerPoint training slides, course materials, exercises and handouts

• Print templates for exercises, handouts, assessment forms and certificates

• 48-page Trainer's Learning Manual

• 16-page Trainee Workbook plus order form for extra copies

The iDET Toolkit is available for immediate delivery.

We can also provide additional support for those organisations requiring assistance with training, including Train the Trainers courses, tailored iDET programmes or integration with existing training and development systems or intranets.
