Conductive education: Schools for Parents

What are Schools for Parents?

Schools for Parents offer family-based learning through play. Inspired by Conductive Education, the play activities support independence and learning through group and individual sessions.

Schools for Parents that belong to the Scope National Network agree to work within our Minimum Standards. We support the National Network through information, advice, training and site visits.

All Schools for Parents heavily subsidise their work through fundraising activities and many offer free sessions. To find out more about whether your child could benefit from this type of service, we recommend you visit and discuss this with a service near to where you live. Each service is unique and each is managed and configured within local boundaries and provisions so check them out and see if it might suit you.
