Celebrating Every Step is an exciting new web-based tool which will enable practitioners and parents to celebrate and track progress in young children with physical, sensory and learning needs. You can access over 100 Early Years Foundation Stage linked activities with a simple recording method which automatically tracks the progress a child makes.

The dynamic tool has been developed to chart the progress of young children who have exceptional levels of need. Their progress can be much slower and many tracking tools do not break down milestones into small enough steps. This can be particularly heart-breaking to parents and carers who need to be able to celebrate their child’s progress however small.

The training enables practitioners to plan developmental activities suitable for the age, developmental level and interests of children 0 – 19 who have profound and multiple impairments.

You will receive one year’s free subscription to the Celebrate Every Step web tool when you book onto this course.

The session will cover:

• the importance of recognising and charting progress
• developmental planning
• differentiation
• recognising strengths and weaknesses and using progress charts to plan future activities and assess the impact of interventions.
