Early years training
Our training is aimed at practitioners, foster and short break carers, early years professionals and parents who are involved or working with disabled children who have complex support needs.
Our diverse training packages can be tailor-made to meet your needs.
All our courses promote inclusion for every child and young person. Our training is embedded within the principles of key current Government’s initiatives, assisting us to support a positive inclusive approach to family, carer, child within any setting.
We have an excellent reputation and proven track record in providing effective quality services. The training courses that we offer provide delegates with essential knowledge and skills and look at various proven methods and tools to effectively include all children and young people.
In 2012-2013 our training had a 99 per cent rating of good to excellent by course delegates. We delivered training to hundreds of delegates across England and Wales.
Who should attend our training?

Our trainers
Our trainers have many years of experience in working with children who have complex or additional needs. Several of them are parents of children with special needs and are Portage trained. Some of the team have been commissioned to write books on Including Children with Cerebral Palsy in the Foundation Stage (Inclusion)and Working with Parents: Of Children with Additional Needs (Inclusion)

CPD (Continual Professional Development)
Scope is a Corporate Affiliate Member of the Institute of Continuing Professional Development (ICPD). As a corporate affiliate member, we can now offer all of our training courses through CPD. This allows us to award all delegates who complete our training one CPD point per learning hour.
