Scope wants high-quality education and support for all children and young people with cerebral palsy and complex needs.
Inclusion
Our inclusion teams work to support disabled children in mainstream settings, and our special schools support children with multiple and complex additional support needs to achieve their full potential both at school and in the wider community.
Further education
We also provide specialist post-19 education at Beaumont College near Lancaster.
Transition
Our Orchard Manor Transition Service in Hertfordshire enables young people aged 18–25, who have combined physical, learning and sensory impairments, to develop skills for independence.
Educational resources
We have a range of training materials to encourage inclusion in all educational settings as well as a number of useful factsheets that address questions on inclusion frequently asked by children, parents and teachers.
