Beech Tree

 

Beech Tree, near Preston in Lancashire, offers both education and care placements to disabled young people who have challenging behaviour from the age of eight to 18.

Young people are referred to Beech Tree because of challenging behaviours, which are a result of a learning difficulties. Many of the young people placed at Beech Tree are autistic.

Each child is given access to the National Curriculum according to their needs. Respect for the individual is at the centre of the school's culture, and pupils show positive and sometimes dramatic improvements in behaviour.
