Ingfield Manor School

Staffing

"Pupils… make good progress in their academic and personal skills because highly skilled staff give them outstanding care and teach a good curriculum, which is clearly personalised to their complex needs. This happens because the staff, led by a very strong senior team, continually strive for excellence." Ofsted

Ingfield has a unique staffing structure reflecting the holistic approach of Conductive Education. Staff work in trans-disciplinary teams that include members with backgrounds and qualifications in Conductive Education, teaching, therapies and child care. Each staff team works with their group of children throughout their waking day. All staff working with pupils participate in devising and implementing Individual Education Plans.

The school benefits from a committed team of support staff, and the oversight of a very active governing body.

Staff turnover is relatively low, which helps maintain a high-quality service to the children. All staff, governors and volunteers are subject to statutory checks and rigorous recruitment procedures prior to appointment.
