At Meldreth Manor, Information Communication Technology (ICT) helps our students to access a range of learning and leisure activities. Every pupil has a specialist ICT assessment to identify their best access method and to find successful ways in which information technology can help them to access a range of learning and leisure activities. For some pupils, this may include using switches to control lights, music tapes and CDs, television and radio. A pupil may be able to learn to control their own mobility through their use of a joystick or switch-controlled electric wheelchair.
