Finding work
Our friendly and dedicated team of advisers will work with you one-on-one to help you develop your skills and find the right job. We’ll support you with:
- Personal development: building your confidence, developing your skills and achieving your goals
- Job searches: preparing CVs and applications, and getting some interview practice
- Work trials: trying out a job to make sure it is right for you before you start work
- Benefits advice: making sure you know what you’re entitled to when you are offered a job
- Voluntary work, or work experience: stepping stones to help you develop experience or skills, and may lead to paid employment
What happens when I find work?
So you’re now working. Our support doesn’t end there. We will continue to work with you until you feel confident and independent, and no longer need our support. We’ll do this through:
- Regular catch-ups providing development, mentoring and advice
- On-the-job training if required
- Advice and guidance to help you access any available funding for equipment that you need to do your job
