Information for employers of disabled people

Are you looking for skilled, loyal and enthusiastic employees? We can help you access a talent pool of disabled people looking for work.

Our employment services

We will work closely with you to really understand your business objectives and recruitment needs, to help you find the best person for the job.

We’ll also support you by arranging free work trials, so you can see if an individual is right for the role by letting them do the job for a few days. Then when you’re both happy, the job can be made permanent.

What happens next?

So you’ve found the right person for the job. Our support won’t end there. We will continue to work with you and your new employee by offering a range of support tailored to your needs:

  • Advice and guidance on disability in the workplace – how to make your work place more accessible
  • One-to-one on-the-job training for your new employee to learn and develop in their role
  • Help you to access available funding for any work-related adaptations or equipment that your new employee may need
  • Additional support such as disability awareness training, and other advice or guidance that you and your staff may need

We will continue to support you and your employee until you both feel you no longer need it.

Keeping valuable staff in the job

We want to make sure we save you time and money on recruitment.

We can also provide you with a tailored package of support for existing employees who may be experiencing difficulties in the role because of their impairment or condition. This might include some simple adjustments or perhaps retraining in a different job role.

Everything we do is about creating lasting change in people’s lives and in the world around us. Together, we can create a better society.
