Houghton Regis Community Care Service

View Care Quality Commission report

Houghton Regis Community Care Service in Bedfordshire is a registered care home for disabled people. It is managed by Scope in partnership with the North British Housing Association and Bedfordshire Health.

The scheme is arranged into four separate, purpose-built self-contained flats that provide single-room accommodation for 16 people who have multiple physical impairments, learning difficulties and additional complex support needs.

There is 24-hour registered nurse provision available at the service.

Our purpose is to enable disabled people to live as full a life as possible in a community environment.

People are offered the opportunity to receive a range of therapies and activities to suit their individual need and choice. They are encouraged to take an active interest in the running of the scheme, taking part in flat meetings, stakeholders and quality action groups.
