KIDS Face 2 Face Hull

KIDS Face 2 Face Hull offers a one-to-one befriending service for parents discovering their child is disabled. All KIDS-trained parent befrienders are parents of children with a range of impairments and/or Special Educational Needs. They have all successfully completed the Face 2 Face foundation training course and are ready to use their experiences to support and encourage others. They are able to offer empathy and emotional support to other parents who may be experiencing feelings of isolation and loneliness or who just want a friendly ear from someone who understands. Parents can self-refer to the service but, if parents prefer, a professional can refer on their behalf.
