Lingfield Avenue, Kingston-upon-Thames is a residential home for 14 people with cerebral palsy and learning difficulties.
Accommodation is in single rooms in a large adapted house near the centre of Kingston. Seven are on the ground floor.
The service also has a purpose-built two-bedroom flat that can offer a taste of independent living within the safety of a residential care home.
The large open plan kitchen and dining room is the heart of the home. A relaxed and informal atmosphere encourages service users to take an active role in the preparation of meals as well as the wider running of the home.
The home offers a wide range of activities and access to community facilities is well developed.

These are particularly good and include:
- Three local day centres
- A fully accessible town centre
- Good local advocacy and volunteer services
- Suitable adult education at numerous sites in the area
- Good transport links to central London and beyond
