A self-help group that is mainly made up of parents of young adults with special needs (emotional, physical, behavioural or educational). It offers the chance of social activities to children and young adults with special needs and their families.
Marches Family Network was established in 1982 under the auspices of Contact a Family as a small self-help parent group. It supports over 320 families in Herefordshire, Shropshire and the surrounding areas. It provides high-quality respite care services for disabled children and special needs including Saturday Play Days, Summer Play Schemes and Buddying Services.
This group runs an activity club for disabled adults. It also offers advice and information and gives welfare grants.

This group runs a day centre for disabled adults, providing activities promoting learning, social interaction and confidence building. They also run a charity shop at 9 Northgate, Halifax.
