Scope Fostering Service in East Anglia

Why become a foster carer?

Scope Fostering Service is looking to recruit foster carers for disabled children in the East Anglia region, including Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

We need caring and committed couples or individuals to offer care for disabled children either on a short break, shared care or a full-time basis.

Scope provides specialist training for carers. Our current foster carers have already experienced what a difference they can make and have seen wonderful progress in the children due to the individual care and attention they have received.

Scope Fostering Service provides specialist fostering and family-based short breaks for disabled children, offering an alternative to residential care.

Some children with learning or physical impairments experience difficulties in finding suitable foster carers due to the high level of support or the type of property they require. However, Scope believes that the positive and rewarding outcomes for both children and foster carers are more than worth it.

"Being able to help is so rewarding." Read our foster carer's story.
