Support for disabled children and young people in the home or local community
We offer support for disabled people in their home and community. We provide individuals with an opportunity to continue something they enjoy, try something new or be supported with personal care.
Our friendly team supports disabled children and young people aged five to 18 to enjoy the things they want to do. Whether it’s for a few hours a day or evening, we can provide these activities for individuals or groups:
- swimming, bowling, horse riding, cinema, theatre
- going to a local sports or community group
- meeting up with a group of friends
- activities at home or at the park
- accompanying you on family day trips
- using social networking to communicate with friends
Whether it’s support with dressing, going to school or meeting a group of friends, our customers enjoy the time with us and develop confidence, independence and new skills.
Accessing our service
Once you contact us we will arrange a time for a member of our team to talk to you and your child about:
- the things they enjoy
- the types of activities they would like to do
- their support needs
- costs of the service and how this works with your child’s personal budget
- how we match the child with an experienced key worker.
We will also answer any other questions you have about the service and create a personal support plan for your child based on these discussions.
Our staff
Our friendly, highly trained staff can administer medication and assist with personal care.
We match each child with an experienced key worker based on interests, support needs and cultural background. We never set limits on a disabled child or young person’s potential.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission.
