Swindon Living Options

Living Options is an umbrella for a number of groups and projects that provide user-led community-based services developed by and for disabled people living in Swindon.

Participants work with others to promote choice, control and equality. Living Options provides appropriate support and opportunities to enable and empower disabled people.

Funded by Swindon Borough Council, Swindon Primary Care Trust, European Social Fund and the Department of Health, Living Options provides user-led services available to physically disabled adults aged 18+ from Swindon borough. Members participate in a variety of activities that promote choice, control, equality and independence. These include:

  • Individual training programmes
  • Work and life skills training
  • Lifestyles opportunities
  • Holistic therapies
  • Volunteer and work placements
  • Social inclusion group
  • Information service
  • Swindon Rockets powerchair football team
