Add sparkle to your fundraiser

How can you spread the word about your fundraising event to ensure maximum awareness and success?

Create your own Scope poster

Striking posters and flyers are one of the best ways of getting noticed. No special skills are needed and there are many, many designs to choose from. You can also get our logo, just contact the events team on 020 7619 7272 or events@scope.org.uk

Scope merchandise

How about getting your event noticed with t-shirts, stickers or even balloons? You get all these from the Events Team.

Social networking websites

Are you on www.facebook.com and www.twitter.com? You could set up a page for your event. Email your friends and colleagues for support and then keep them updated. But don't forget the personal touch by following up emails with a phone call or in person.

Local media

You can't go wrong with promoting your fundraising activity through local media. Get in touch with newsdesks at local newspapers or try to get local radio and television stations interested in your event. You could invite the local press to attend your event on the day - send an invitation two weeks in advance. Include an invite for one of their photographers to come along.

But please contact the Events Team first for help and advice.

Work media

If you work for a company with an internal magazine or newsletter, don't forget to send them information too - the editor may well be keen to hear about your news and see pictures, especially if other members of staff from the company are involved.

Good luck and here's wishing you lots of great coverage for your events!
