Alastair Stewart OBE

"During the events I have attended on Scope's behalf I've learnt about the many issues facing disabled people, so I feel passionately about championing Scope's work. What we need is a Britain that is free from disablism - a fully inclusive Britain. Some progress has been made but we must still educate ministers, civil servants and business leaders about disablism statistics, in precisely the same way they read economic data - to influence policy and eradicate inequality."
