Why we need you
- To ensure that shop paperwork is completed correctly and efficiently
What will I be doing?
- Collating and reporting information about the shop's performance. For example, recording the number of different types of clothing sold each week
- Assisting the manager with the paperwork of the shop
- Carrying out other optional activities such as stocktaking and ordering new goods
What skills do I need?
- Attention to detail
- Basic numeracy
- Honesty and reliability
- The ability to work as part of a team
How much time do I need to commit?
You can agree your hours with your manager who will try to be as flexible as possible. Many of our volunteers contribute one or two four-hour shifts a week.
What support will I be given?
We will provide all the training you need to feel confident in the role. The shop manager will be available to advise and assist you as you work in the shop. There may also be other experienced volunteers in the team who will be available when you need help or want to ask a question.
