Why we need you
- To increase volumes of donated goods to shops and to generate income for Scope
What will I be doing?
- Working with the shop manager to arrange collections from members of the public at mutually convenient times
- Providing an efficient and courteous service to our donors
What skills do I need?
- Your own vehicle and a clean driver's licence
- A polite and efficient manner for communicating with the general public
- The ability to work as part of a team
How much time do I need to commit?
You can agree your hours with your manager who will try to be as flexible as possible. Many of our volunteers contribute one or two four-hour shifts a week.
What support will I be given?
We will provide all the training you need to feel confident in the role. The shop manager will be available to advise and assist you as you work in the shop. There may also be other experienced volunteers in the team who will be available when you need help or want to ask a question.
