There are lots of ways for everybody to volunteer with Scope, in our shops, our services or our offices. We want as many people as possible to be able to volunteer at Scope and are committed to enabling disabled people to make a valuable contribution to their community. To support this, Scope has established the Inclusive Volunteering Programme.

Scope's Inclusive Volunteering Programme aims to establish 300 new volunteering opportunities for disabled people over the next three years. Launched in November 2006 with funding from Volunteering for All and the Big Lottery Fund, the scheme is working in four regions of the UK - London, the North East, the North West and Yorkshire and Humberside - to encourage and support employers who are engaging disabled volunteers.
This will be underpinned with a training programme promoting the needs and benefits of disabled volunteers. If you would like to find out more about Scope's Inclusive Volunteering Programme or volunteering opportunities with Scope in your area, please contact Scope's Volunteering Strategy Team on 0808 800 3333 or volunteering@scope.org.uk
