Scope's Inclusive Volunteering Programme: how can I become involved?
Scope Inclusive Volunteering Programme has enabled more disabled people to become involved in volunteering with over 200 volunteers placed as part of the programme.
The IVP has worked in partnership with a number of organisations, all of which are committed to involving more disabled volunteers. Scope's Inclusive Volunteering Programme will support you to find the right volunteering opportunity to suit you.
What is volunteering? Could it be for me?
Volunteers can do almost anything! From helping an older neighbour with shopping to providing legal advice for a local charity, volunteers make a vital contribution to all aspects of community life. Volunteering is a great way to experience new things, meet different people and improve skills.
What support is available?
If you would like to get involved in volunteering please have a look at the "It could be me" toolkit.
Your local volunteer centre may also be able to offer you information and advice. You can find your local Volunteer Centre at http://www.volunteering.org.uk/WhatWeDo/Local+and+Regional/VolunteerCentreFinderGoogle.htm
