Scope's Inclusive Volunteering Programme: how can I become involved?

Scope Inclusive Volunteering Programme enables more disabled people to become involved in volunteering.

We offer guidance and support to disabled people who are interested in volunteering. The team will work with you to identify what you hope to gain from volunteering and what kind of organisation and role would interest you.

Scope's Inclusive Volunteering Programme works in partnership with a number of organisations, all of which are committed to involving more disabled volunteers. Scope's Inclusive Volunteering Programme will support you to find the right volunteering opportunity to suit you.

What is volunteering? Could it be for me?

Volunteers can do almost anything! From helping an older neighbour with shopping to providing legal advice for a local charity, volunteers make a vital contribution to all aspects of community life. Volunteering is a great way to experience new things, meet different people and improve skills.

What support is available?

Scope offers ongoing support to disabled volunteers such as taster-days, form filling, advice for organisations on reasonable adjustments through the Access to Volunteering Fund.

Why not try a taster day? To find out how, contact us.
