December 11th
Our Generation - Mentoring and Befriending training, Wakefield
Every Thursday, 10.30am till 1.30pm, for seven weeks.
This mentoring and befriending training is open to all adults over 50 who are disabled or have a long-term health condition in Wakefield. It's accredited by the Open College Network (Level 2) and leads to an exciting, fully supported volunteer role in a new Lottery-funded project.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed and lunch and refreshments are provided.

Our Generation Mentoring and Befriending open day
Our Generation mentoring and befriending service is recruiting volunteers aged 50 and over to support disabled people in the Wakefield area.
By accompanying someone to a social event, supporting them to learn a new skill or even just being there to talk, you can make a lifetime of difference.
You don't need any formal qualifications as we'll give you full training and support.

Leicestershire Face 2 Face parent befriender training
Leicestershire Face 2 Face is recruiting volunteers which will enable them to offer emotional support to more parents of disabled children in Leicestershire. Training starts on 18 January 2013 and will be held one day per week for nine weeks.

Speaking Up for Disability
The Speaking up for Disability project from the Worthing-based charity, the Independent Living Association, has now confirmed dates for their project exhibition in summer 2013.

Neurologically based behaviours
