Cwmbran Skills Development Centre is an established service offering a range of development opportunities for disabled people.
Cwmbran's Karten CTEC (Computer-aided Training Education and Communication) centre has over 25 high-performance computers equipped with the latest access technologies to enable disabled people to gain skills and move into employment.
We develop and provide learning packages, including distance learning, which lead to accreditation of core numeracy & literacy, and communication skills through the medium of information technology.
Personal development programmes (including lifelong learning, goal setting and career development) are prime elements of the service.
