KPMG in the UK is a leading provider of professional services including audit, tax, financial and risk advisory. KPMG in the UK has over 10,000 partners and staff working in 22 offices and is part of a strong global network of members firms. On 1 October 2007 KPMG in the UK merged with KPMG in Germany and Switzerland to form KPMG Europe.

KPMG's vision is simply stated to turn knowledge into value for the benefit of their clients, their people and their capital markets.

KPMG's values and principles on which they work are widely respected and lead to people working in an environment where they can learn and develop whatever their particular backgrounds, skills or ambitions. This helps to underpin KPMG's diversity.

At the same time they are committed to giving back some of what they achieve into the communities that they work with and for more than 12 years, KPMG in the UK has built a vibrant, far-reaching and coordinated programme of Corporate Social Responsibility.

In relation to disability in particular, KPMG has a Board-level disability champion, a Disability Steering Group comprising representatives from across the business, and a Disability Network, which meets on a quarterly basis. The last meeting of the Network saw the launch of a new KPMG internal publication on IT accessibility. In the past few months over 260 people managers and HR advisers have participated on disability awareness training led by disability consultants Minty and Friend.

As a partner with Scope KPMG volunteered to pilot Scope's Interactive Disability Equality Training Toolkit.
