Leasedrive was established in 1983 and Velo in 1988. The two companies merged at the start of 2007 to form one of the largest independent privately-owned vehicle management groups in the UK. Leasedrive Velo operates two divisions, Leasedrive Velo Vehicle Management and Leasedrive Velo Rental Management.

Leasedrive Velo Vehicle Management offers blue chip clients the highest quality bespoke total vehicle management service available. Working in partnership with fleet managers, or delivering a complete outsourced service, Leasedrive Velo provides a range of services. Leasedrive Velo Rental Management is one of the largest short-term vehicle rental management companies in the corporate market with access to 128,779 vehicles from 958 locations in the UK.

They continually strive to deliver the highest quality bespoke vehicle management service and demonstrably add value to their clients through investment in people, world-class fleet management systems and totally-integrated innovative solutions.

Leasedrive Velo and Scope have been working together since January 2006 when Leasedrive Velo took over the management of Scope's company car and DPV fleet. The relationship is strong, with the Leasedrive Velo team supporting the company car drivers and centres around the country.
