Understanding the world: autistic spectrum disorder

Share:

The main challenges to understanding the world for early years children with autistic spectrum disorders, including Asperger's, are the same as for PSHE and autistic spectrum disorder across the subjects and stages.

You can:

  • Follow the general advice for understanding the world.
  • Use videos clips to prepare a child for a visitor, such as a police officer, or if an animal is being brought to class – so they know what to expect.
