As well as Adam, we have a great evening lined up with some other amazing comedians for you to enjoy including: Rosie Jones, Steve Day, Dane Baptiste. And now the brilliant Kelly Convey will join this fantstic line up.

Why we are running Joke for Scope

There are 13 million disabled people in Britain, that’s 21 percent of the population. Yet disabled people remain hugely underrepresented on our screens, stages and in the public eye. This is no laughing matter.

Often disabled people’s ambitions, talent and potential goes unrecognised as a result of negative attitudes and stigma.

We have something to say about this - it’s time for it to change.

Fortunately humour can challenge attitudes, break down barriers and bring people together.

So join us on Monday 20 November and help us support disabled people and their families.

Competition: Can you Joke for Scope?

We’re hunting for comedy talent. And it’s not going well so far…

“My dog’s got no nose”
“How does he smell?”

Think you can do better? Send us an original joke on Twitter for a chance to win two tickets to the event and the chance to meet Adam Hills!

It can be in a series of Tweets, in a video clip or embedded in an image. Just make sure you use the hashtag #JokeForScope so we spot it. See our full terms and conditions for details.
