Always wanted to be Bear Grylls for a day? Now's your chance!

Pitch yourself against a series of survival challenges in your chosen location of either the wilds of Dartmoor, the South Downs or the Brecon Beacons. Designed by Bear Grylls and his Survival Academy team, you and your team will have to overcome challenges of mental agility, decision making under pressure, strength and stamina and dealing with fear, cold, wet and heights!

Your mission: to get to the extraction point by tackling a number of obstacles, including

  • abseiling and cliff jumping
  • raft building and rope crossings
  • rescue fire lighting and survival shelter building
  • and what Bear Grylls Survival Academy would be complete without a 'gross eat challenge'?
This one-day challenge will see you working in teams of ten against three other teams to survive your journey to the extraction point and do it as efficiently and effectively as possible to outscore your opponents.

Reasons to support us

The money you raise:
  • means we can be there to offer support and advice to disabled people and their families.
  • could help our helpline continue to support thousands of people every year. Last year, we received over 28,000 enquiries and demand is higher than ever.
  • could help us to bring parents of disabled children together through our online community or local befriending services so they can support each other during stressful and anxious times.
