Declaration

I understand that completing this form does not guarantee my place in the event, but I will be contacted separately and told if my application is successful.
If accepted, I agree to pay Scope the £500 registration fee to secure my place. Payment will not be taken if my application is unsuccessful. Registration fees are not refundable and cannot be transferred to another event or product.
I understand that if accepted for a Scope Marathon des Sables place, I am undertaking to raise at least £6,999 in sponsorship (excluding Gift Aid) and banking all fundraising within 2 months of the event.
I confirm that I will be 18 years of age by the departure date of Marathon des Sables. To the best of my knowledge, my general state of health and fitness is good and I take full responsibility for my training. I take part at my own risk.
I confirm my passport will be valid for at least 6 months upon my return date to the UK. I understand it is my responsibility to have the correct visas and documentation necessary for travel.
I give Scope permission to share my details with the event organiser.
I give permission for Scope to use photographs or videos taken of me to raise awareness or money for Scope's work.
