There are over 14 million disabled people in the UK and they have been amongst the hardest hit by Coronavirus. Scope is needed now more than ever. Our services are seeing unprecedented demand, our helpline is providing a listening ear and our online community is keeping people connected throughout lockdown.
But the pandemic has been devastating for us. The charity has seen its 195 shops close, fundraising events cancelled and marathons postponed. During lockdown, our income has fallen by around £1.2 million a month.
Your legendary fundraising will help us be there for disabled people and their families during the pandemic and beyond.
Caller to the Scope helplineI can honestly say that I don’t think I could have coped had it not been for the helpline. They have given me so much time and support through all my difficulties and battles.
Help this great work to continue. Create your challenge and sign up to join Scope’s Lockdown Legends today.
