Voice over: At Scope, we're about disability.

We want to change society so that disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. We make change happen by providing support, advice and information for more than a quarter of a million disabled people and their family members every year.

We make change happen by running a range of services that support disabled people in England and Wales throughout their lives.

That means education and learning opportunities, short breaks and leisure activities, after school and independent living schemes - as well as support in the home and the community, in order to give choice and control back to disabled people.

We also make change happen by raising awareness of the issues that disabled people face and challenging assumptions about disability.

We make change happen by working with others. We attract donations and sponsorships from companies, trusts and individuals. Our employment services work with large corporations, public sector bodies and local employers to support disabled people to get and stay in work in the roles they really want.

We make change happen by influencing others. We get our voice heard where decisions are made. We are a platform for people to share their experiences and opinions and we are able to make change happen thanks to the passion and expertise of our staff and volunteers, our amazing fundraisers who run marathons, swim, cycle, trek and endure all over the globe.

Everything we do is about making change happen in individual lives and in the world around us. Because our vision is a world where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else.

We believe that together we can create a better society.
