Before meeting your fundraiser, I had no knowledge of what Scope does. I wouldn’t have signed up if it wasn’t for him.
Like you, many of our supporters have spoken to one of our fundraisers on their doorstep, at the shops or at an event.
Talking with you about disability issues and how your support can make a vital difference to the lives of disabled people, which is something we’re passionate about.
If you’ve recently met or seen our fundraisers and would like to talk to us about it, we’d love to hear from you. Give us a call on 020 7619 7296 to speak to one of the team or send an email to email@example.com
Where are you fundraising right now?
Thousands of disabled people and their families benefit from our support across England and Wales. We fundraise by visiting different places every week.
How do I know if I met a genuine Scope fundraiser?
If you have any doubts please get in touch. Call 020 7619 7296 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Do you work with agencies?
Yes we do. Working with agencies helps us speak to many more supporters than we could do ourselves, which means disabled people are closer to having the same opportunities as everyone else.
The agencies we work with are as passionate as us when they’re talking to new supporters and will hold themselves to the same high standards. Our fundraising promise to you is important to us, so we expect our fundraisers to treat you with respect and always comply with fundraising regulations.
How do you check if the fundraisers are doing a good job?
Are fundraisers paid?
Yes, our fundraisers are professionally trained and paid to work for us
Why do you fundraise this way?
Talking to people like you on your doorstep, in the street or at an event is one of the most successful ways of raising ongoing, regular donations. For every £1 spent on face to face fundraising, more than double than that is raised over the next few years.
With the help from supporters like you, more disabled people and their families can get the support they need, when they most need it.
I fundraise for Scope because I have disabled people in my family, and I’ve seen first-hand the difficulties they can face. I’m proud to knock on doors and spread the word about Scope. I hope my passion comes across to would-be supporters.
From every pound
70p goes towards supporting disabled people and their families, so they can have the same opportunities as everyone else
20p is spent on selling your donated goods through our shops, which raises even more money for us
9p is spent on fundraising with our supporters
1p is spent on making sure the charity is efficient and well run
