This is a varied and creative role where you’ll encourage donations, sort and present stock to maximise sales, meet shop targets and provide a high level of customer service.
In the shop manager's absence you'll be responsible for running the shop, so you must have the confidence and skills to lead the team of volunteers and have experience dealing with customers.
Working in our shops
Scope charity shops are open every day, so you must be prepared to work weekends and Bank Holidays as required. This is a part-time role working 21 hours a week.
Benefits of working for Scope include excellent holiday entitlement, discounts in a range of online and high street stores, performance-related incentives, pension scheme, and full induction, training and development.
At Scope, our mission is to drive social change so that disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. We want to achieve everyday equality and support disabled people to get the best start in life, live the life they choose and be financially secure.
We do this by running a range of services, raising awareness of the issues that disabled people face and influencing change across society. We provide support, advice and information for more than a quarter of a million disabled people and family members every year. Our growing retail network is at the centre of what we do, raising vital money to fund our work.
