Managing a Scope charity shop is retailing with a difference. With us, you’ll know your efforts are making this country a place where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else.

Are you commercially aware with lots of retail experience and a passion for fashion? Do you strive to provide the best customer service?

You'll have a hands-on approach and the ability to recruit and motivate a team of volunteers. It's varied work - you'll encourage donations, sort and present stock and promote our work in the local community.

You'll have proven management and organisational skills and be confident enough to work on your initiative. You'll be given autonomy to manage the shop. You'll be responsible for the performance of the shop, maximising sales and driving targets and profits.

Working in our shops

Scope charity shops are open every day, so you must be prepared to work Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays as required. This full-time role is 35 hours a week, working five days out of seven.

In return you will receive an excellent benefits package which includes 35 days holiday (including public holidays), a performance related bonus scheme, workplace pension scheme, discounts on a range of online and high street stores and childcare vouchers.

You'll receive full training and may also have the opportunity to obtain an National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Retail covering team leadership and customer service.
