Main responsibilities and accountabilities:
Deliver best in class video and photography content across Scope’s channels, ensuring all outputs are of the highest standard, resonate with our target audiences, and drive our mission for Everyday Equality.
Take ownership of our digital asset library and consent process to ensure our content is up to date and accessible to staff, and we are working in line with proper consent and GDPR guidelines.
Provide technical editing expertise and supply tailored, subtitled content for social media platforms.
Consistently and creatively apply Scope’s brand, including our tone of voice, to all projects.
Respond to briefs and work with the Senior Film Specialist to develop creative pitches for internal and external clients
Take part in creative brainstorms and contribute innovative ideas and concepts to ensure we diversify Scope’s existing catalogue of films and photography.
Work closely with our Storytellers Team to sensitively and effectively represent our disabled storytellers in films and photoshoots.
Champion accessible and inclusive film making and proactively promote its importance internally and externally.
Work collaboratively with the Account Management team ensuring the successful delivery of multichannel campaigns.
Lead by example, live Scope’s values and provide safe working space that nurtures employees potential.
Comply with all Scope’s policies, procedures and external compliance such as GDPR, complaints and best marketing practice
Compliance with HR, Scope systems and processes and performance
Skills and competencies:
Degree or equivalent in film or TV production, OR experience working in-house or freelance as a film maker
Experience of editing video content
Proven knowledge of adhering to creative production workflows and sign-off
Experience of working with a defined brand and applying brand guidelines
Experience of working for charity brands.
Experience of creating video content for political and fundraising campaigns to encourage audiences to take an action
Experience of working on creative briefs from concept to delivery
Understanding of the Social Model of Disability
Understanding of accessible and inclusive design principles and how to implement them
