Job description

Role purpose

As Key Partnerships Lead you will deliver and develop Scope’s partnerships to drive income and engagement to enable us to deliver our Equal Future strategy.

You will manage and grow Scope’s strategic corporate partners from a variety of sectors including one of the leading supermarket chains. This will include managing a range of strategic projects and programmes as well as supporting organisations on their inclusion & accessibility journeys. The role will involve negotiating with senior internal and external stakeholders, and delivering partnerships that drives mutual benefit for our partner and disabled people.

You will manage a wide-ranging portfolio of partnerships of medium size relationship. Your role will be to develop partnership strategies with clear growth trajectories, ensuring partnership plans are in place and financial targets are met. You will lead on internal project teams to deliver partnership objectives across programme activities, fundraising, volunteering, marketing, and communications.

We are also really keen to empower our account management team to fundraise by upselling and transforming existing relationships. You will be given full autonomy to develop, adapt and grow your existing partners in line with our strategic aims.

This role will sit within the Corporate partnerships in the Fundraising directorate, which consists of our new relationships and account management functions.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of existing corporate partners, driving mutual benefit for the organisation and disabled people
  • Provide outstanding relationship management with a continued focus on growth and development of partnership programmes.
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver partnership objectives. You will ensure cohesive content management, brief key stakeholders appropriately, spot development opportunities and monitor risk.
  • Engage Scope’s Senior Management Team, Chief Executive and Executive Leadership Team to effectively deliver and develop partnerships
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with external stakeholders
  • Set the strategic direction for your partners, ensuring robust partnership plans are in place with clear growth trajectories
  • Collaborate with Scope’s services, fundraising and volunteering teams to spot opportunities to develop and engage partners.
  • Project manage working groups to ensure delivery of partnership objectives. This includes delivering against partnership goals and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Implement effective and efficient systems, processes and working groups to professionally manage the partnership to an exceptional standard.
