We are looking for a motivated and experienced Public Affairs Manager to oversee and build our relationships with political stakeholders, take a lead on managing Scope’s reputation in Westminster and, oversee the development of Public Affairs Team.

About the role

We are looking for a charismatic and impactful Public Affairs professional to lead our Public Affairs work and help deliver our influencing programme. Managing the Public Affairs team (Public Affairs Officer and Senior Public Affairs Officer) the post-holder will be responsible for delivering our Public Affairs strategy to make sure our influencing objectives are seen, heard and acted on by Government, decision makers and wider Westminster.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Public Affairs Manager to oversee and build our relationships with political stakeholders, take a lead on managing Scope’s reputation in Westminster and, oversee the development of the Public Affairs team.

This is a unique opportunity to join a talented and highly effective policy and research department, which has achieved significant impact on disability policy. The post-holder will have a strong interest and expertise in politics, experienced in managing a high performing, ambitious team, and be able to identify and run with political opportunities.
