Supporting someone to make the most of their potential could be one of the most rewarding things you can do. That's what we do at Scope. Your values and attitude are more important to us than experience and we will provide full training.

About us

At Scope, our mission is to drive social change so that disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. We want to achieve Everyday equality and support disabled people to get the best start in life, live the life they choose and be financially secure.

About the job

Lewis Martin Court in Cardiff provides our disabled service users with their own accommodation, where they are supported to live as independently as possible.

Your role will be to support them with their day to day activities from getting up and preparing for the day, cooking, cleaning and supporting them to access the community to enjoy activities such as college, work or recreational events like going to the theatre, night clubs and restaurants. You will be expected to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

About you

Respectful, resourceful and reliable with an ability to adapt your approach, you’ll be committed to supporting disabled people to live fulfilling lives, assisting them with their social and household activities, and with any medication and personal care requirements. You’ll need clear written and verbal communication skills, and a flexible approach to your work.

We're committed to equal opportunities and particularly welcome applications from disabled people. Successful applicants will need to have a enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
