Power Up and Play is an exciting new event, where people can raise money for Scope by playing online games.

We caught up with tech whizz Thines about why he’s taking part.

So Thines, why are you so passionate about online gaming?

“I have brittle bones disease. When I was waiting for surgery last year, gaming was an escape into a world where I could move and explore, meet and interact with others, form communities and networks – things I couldn’t do in real life. That really helped me maintain my wellbeing.”

Why did you want to take part in the Power Up and Play event?
