Keen gardener Shana used her green fingers to beat the lockdown blues.
She has multiple sclerosis, a condition that affects her brain and spinal cord. For her, it also means that she can only see bright colours.
During lockdown, Shana transformed a car park outside her home into a beautiful flower garden.
“Many of my elderly neighbours were housebound,” she says. “Their relatives told me that seeing the flowers through the window made such a difference to them.”
Don’t you think that was a wonderful way to brighten up lockdown?
