The British Association for Supported Employment

BASE is the national trade association representing more than 200 UK agencies involved in securing employment for disabled people. The association aims to raise awareness of supported employment, represent the sector, inform members and encourage best practice.

Shaw Trust

Shaw Trust supports disabled people towards employment through either Work Choice or the Work Programme. It also helps employers to manage and support disabled employees.

Disability Rights UK

Disability Rights UK aims to improve access to work opportunities, including apprenticeships and influence government policy on career support for disabled people. It has established Radiate, a network of disabled people in senior jobs.

First Step Trust

First Step Trust provides work, training and employment opportunities for people excluded from work because of disability or other barriers. It helps people to become less dependent on health and social care and make the transition to paid employment.

Autism Initiatives Group

A range of services for people with autism, including employment and apprenticeship activities.

Action for Kids

Work-related learning services including work experience, work placements and key skills development.
