Your support, your way
What would make a difference to you? Together we’ll make it happen so you can live the life you choose.
Read more on how we work with you.

We offer support for disabled adults to either access their community, for personal care at home and short breaks, 24 hours a day.

We support disabled adults with any condition or impairment. These include dysphagia, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, autism, physical impairments and learning difficulties.

Dorset Home Care

Personal care at home is also known as domiciliary care, social care or home care. This means that we can support with getting ready for school, washing, dressing, taking medication, eating and any other personal support that they may need.

Dorset Support Away from Home

We can support adults to take part in local activities that they enjoy doing. This can be activities such as going shopping, meeting friends, sports and fitness, travelling to college and going to the pub, cinema, theatre, concerts or a football match.

Through our flexible support you’ll gain new skills, confidence and independence. It’s your choice what you’ll do.

Thorngrove Garden Centre

We give disabled adults the opportunity to try a full range of indoor and outdoor leisure and social activities. You’ll gain confidence, independence and learn new things. Decide what you’d like to do and our staff will support you to make it happen. The types of activities you might try are: gardening and plant production, carpentry, cooking and growing vegetables.

Getting started

We will talk with you – and others in your life who you want us to – to find out what’s important and how you like to be supported. Together, we’ll develop a support plan around the things you want to do, with a focus on what you’d like to achieve.

Your support staff

We’ll find support staff who you like and you’ll get on with.

Supporting disabled people for the past 60 years, 50 years in Dorset, we know just how much selecting friendly and caring staff matters. We train our staff thoroughly to provide safe and quality support.

You can pay with your direct payments, personal budget, private income, through the local authority and continuing health care funding.

Book us for an hour or two as you need, or at a regular time that suits you.
