We provide a range of services for disabled children, young people and adults including support in the home with personal care and daily tasks and support to access activities in the community such as shopping, meeting friends, attending leisure activities, medical appointments or college.
We can support children, young people and adults with any impairment or condition. These include dysphagia, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, autism, physical impairments and learning difficulties. We also support disabled people with clinical needs such as tracheostomy, gastrostomy, suction, oxygen and medication administration.
Lancashire Support Away from Home
We offer support for disabled children, young people and adults to access their community. For activities, we can support disabled children and young people and adults to take part in local activities that they enjoy doing.
For disabled children and young people, this can be activities such as Scouts or Guides, after school clubs, meeting up with friends, creative arts, drama and music, sports and fitness, shopping and going to the cinema.
For adults, this can be activities such as going shopping, meeting friends, sports and fitness, travelling to college, employment skills and going to the pub, cinema, theatre, concerts or a football match.
Lancashire Home Care
We offer support for disabled children, young people and adults for personal care at home, 24 hours a day. Personal care at home is also known as domiciliary care, social care or home care. This means that we can support with getting ready for school, washing, dressing, taking medication, eating and any other personal support that they may need.
We will talk with you – and others in your life who you want us to – to find out what’s important and how you like to be supported. Together, we’ll develop a support plan around the things you want to do, with a focus on what you’d like to achieve.
Your support staff
We’ll find support staff who you like and who you’ll get on with. Supporting families with disabled children and adults for over 60 years, we know just how much selecting friendly and caring staff matters. We train our staff thoroughly to provide safe and quality support.
You can pay using your direct payments, personal budgets, private income or through the local authority
