This place is special, you can tell from the minute you get in the front door. The staff helped me build up my confidence and discover who I am.
Jamie, 18 Student at Craig Y Parc

The school

Craig y Parc school is a place of excellence where your child can realise their educational and personal potential in a safe, supportive and fun environment.

Each student has a personalised education and care plan, ensuring they develop the best possible skills for a more independent future. We treat all our students with dignity, courtesy and respect and support them to make decisions about their lives. Our holistic approach to education includes integrated therapy and multi-sensory lessons which are motivating, relevant and fun.

Is it for your child?

We offer places to children and young people from 3 to 19, with complex needs, also known as special needs. These include dysphagia, epilepsy, mental health needs, cerebral palsy, autism, physical impairments and learning difficulties.

We offer a flexible residential service, including full time, term time or weekly boarding. We also have a short break service where students stay with us for a set number of nights. Our staff are trained to care for students with complex health needs and nursing care from registered nurses is available.

We support our students to stay in touch with family and friends and there is an ‘open door’ policy to family members who want to come and see what daily life at school is like.
